NCE-T Backup Error

Hi friend.

When NE backup is performed on NCE, the error message "Current state of NE is not fit to execute database package uploading or downloading, please retry later." is displayed. The possible cause is that the NE status is abnormal. Please contact related NE engineers to locate the fault cause.

The "Automatic Backup Operation Failed" alarm(7938) is generated if data fails to be automatically backed up by NE Software Management.

Impact on the System
Automatic NE data backup fails so that NE data files fail to be backed up on the NCE server.

Possible Causes

• The device is not reachable.

• The NCE settings are incorrect.

• Device Trap not received.

Procedure
Open the Network Management app and choose Maintenance > NE Software Management > NE Data Backup/Restoration from the main menu. On the NE View page, view the details about the target NE in the Operation Status column.
