Today I would like to introduce you to an item of this solution, the Link Home APP.
Link Home APP
Link Home is a mobile app that should be used by broadband users. With these apps users can deploy, manage, diagnose, and maintain their Home Wi-Fi networks.
APP home screen
On the home screen, we can see the Gateway status, AP amounts, STA amount, bandwidth consumption in real-time, in addition to some tools like:
Network topology - Display connections between home network devices
Device Installation - Help install APs to extend home Wi-FI
Device Control - Control the internet access period of devices
Wi-Fi management - Provide Wi-Fi settings, scheduled enabling/disabling, and signal strength
Quick diagnosis - Check home network in one-touch mode and optimize the network
Unfortunately, I won't be able to show you all the tools, but I'll show you the ones I particularly like the most.
Network topology
Uplink and downlink rate visualization of each STA, signal strength, Rx optical power, device name.
Wi-Fi management
Within Wi-Fi management, we have the options: Wi-Fi settings, Signal mode, Wi-Fi Scheduled Disabling, and Wi-Fi Quality.
Option Wi-Fi settings:
Within this option, we have the option to enable dual-band roaming, enable and disable Wi-Fi, change SSID.
Wi-Fi Quality
In this option, we can visualize the best channels according to the interference level, and choose manually or automatically.
Resume: The application has an infinity of options, and the coolest thing is that it has integration with the NCE-Smart Home system. With this solution, the network administrator can send warning messages to customers, and customers can send messages to the administrator requesting support.
