On DeviceManager, names of directories or files are garbled characters. You cannot view their properties, delete them, or configure quotas for them.
Names of directories or files are garbled characters. When you try to view the properties of one of those directories or files, a message is displayed stating that the directory or file does not exist.
The OceanStor 9000 supports the UTF8 encoding mode only. When the client software such as PuTTY adopts another encoding mode to write a directory or file, the fault will occur.
- On the client, delete the directories or files whose names are garbled characters.
- Use the client software that only supports the UTF8 encoding mode and write directories or files using the UTF8 encoding mode again.
