My Huawei Y9 2019 shutdown and could not power up, Help!

Hello everyone, Please help. My Huawei Y9 2019 of about 3 months old has experienced shutdown 3 days ago and since then could not power on. It instead displays a continuous flashing tiny red light at the top of the screen whenever I depress the power button to switch it on, the red light also stops flashing after a while and only comes up after I plugged in the charger.

It tried to charge it several times and even used a different charger and a different cord but Alas, it still could not charge neither could it power on but displays that tiny flashing red light at the top instead, I have also tried to depress volume up button together with power button to see if I can reset to factory settings all to no avail. I don't know if this is a battery problem, charging port or software problem.

Before the phone shut down, the battery was like 30% and it was asking me to download software of size 3.33Gigabytes which will burn up that same amount of internet data that I did not have at that moment.  Please what should I do? Can anyone offer me useful suggestions on how to review my Y9 pls?

Hello user!
Make sure the phone battery is charged:
- Clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure that any dirt or debris stuck in this port is removed.
- Fully charge the phone using its wall charger.
- In case the phone does not charge then try using a different charging cord and wall charger. You should also try charging the phone from a computer USB port in case charging using the wall charger fails to work.

Perform a soft reset:
- Press and hold the Power and Volume down key for up to 45 seconds.
- Wait as the device restarts.

Start the phone in Safe Mode:
- Power off the phone by holding down the power button for a few seconds.
- Press and hold the power button and release it when you see the Huawei logo on screen.
- After releasing the Power key, immediately press and hold the Volume down key.
- Keep holding the Volume key till the phone completely boots up.
- Once the phone boots up,  “Safe mode” should appear on the bottom of the screen

Wipe the cache partition of the phone:
- Turn off your phone.
- Press and hold the Volume UP button along with Power button on your  device simultaneously for a few seconds
- The phone will enter the stock recovery mode
- Use volume buttons to highlight ‘wipe cache partition’ and use power key to select it
- Reboot the system once the process is completed

Perform a factory reset:
- Turn off your phone.
- Press and hold the Volume UP button along with Power button on your  device simultaneously for a few seconds
- The phone will enter the stock recovery mode
- Use volume buttons to highlight  select wipe cache/factory reset and use power key to select it
