My HG8145V5 router is unable to detect external AP

Hi,


I got a HG8145V5 router as my main router and I have a TP-Link router connected to it in access point mode. It shows connected via the LAN port, however it doesn't show in the list of connected APs. I want to set up smart roaming on the routers, but it is unable to detect my external AP.


Any help is appreciated :)

Hello, friend!


Use a network cable to connect the TP router to the LAN port of the ONT.


If roaming is required, ensure that the SSID and password of the TP are the same as those of the ONT.


The terminal device selects a device to be connected.


However, Huawei ONT does not promise to support the roaming function for third-party APs.
