In the first-line feedback room, multiple boards are not in place, and the BD_STATUS and COMMUN_FAIL alarms are reported. At the same time, the AUX boards on all subracks of the same NE are reported HARD_BAD alarms.
Cause: 1. The board is not in the BD_STATUS alarm. The board is faulty or the backplane is down. 2. The board is also accompanied by a COMMUN_FAIL alarm. It may be a communication bus failure between the board and the master or AUX. 3. The AUX board also has a HARD_BAD alarm. The board slot is loose or the backplane is down framed or the board is faulty. 4. All AUXs of all sub-frames of the entire network element have alarms to work, and the key is suspected to be caused by power failure or voltage instability.
Processing steps:
1) In the case of no more than one operation, multiple unrecognized boards are not in place at the same time, and BD_STATUS and COMMUN_FAIL alarms are reported to eliminate board faults and backplane faults.
2) Contact the first line to check all AUX of the entire network element. After the hard reset, all alarms disappear and the board is on-board. Troubleshoot all board faults and backplane traces.
3) Multiple AUXs have alarms at the same time and they are suspected of power supply problems.
4) Let the first line confirm the power supply situation of the equipment room at the time point of the alarm report, and confirm that there is voltage instability.
to sum up:
1) Communication alarms of multiple boards, with a focus on the main control and AUX.
2) Multiple AUXs report alarms at the same time, with a focus on power
