Hi, Community!

Good day to you!

This topic describes how to deal with the problem that MU offline.

Problem Description

Customer feedbacked the VCN540 cluster status was abnormal.

Problem Analysis

Logged in master server and found one VCN was offline.
After a while, the offline VCN services automatically restarted and went online.
Analyzed related logs and found an error implying out of memory.
The PCG service was running, which occupied a lot of memory.

Root Cause

PCG service was running, but normally under cluster mode PCG services should be disabled when there is no third-party platform connected, which occupied memory, and caused VCN rebooting and services frequent offline.

Solution Description

Manually stopped PCG services.
After observing for a week, we confirmed the issue has been solved.
