HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)

In which form traffic leaves the line units in MSTP ? Is it packer traffic or Ethernet Traffic ? Or different optical fibers are reserved for both of these traffics ?

Dear friend!
For traditional Ethernet services or SDH services, the service flows leave the SDH line board in the form of VC4, VC3, and VC12, and then travel to the tributary board through the cross-connect board.

For packet services, MPLS packets (data packets with MPLS labels) leave the packet line board and then travel to the packet interface board through the cross-connect board.

Thank you!

It's not possible at the moment, they have to use their own fiber. Even in the MSOTN, the hybrid line board encapsulates all signals into unified OTU signals for transmission.
