
NMS could not reach the OSN 3500, the IP route between the NE and the NMS was unavailable.

Step1. Confirm if the IP address is correctly configured for the OSN 3500
Step2. Identify the root cause, using segment by segment pin test on the IP route.
Ones the route is changed the NMS properly manage the device.

Solution: Modify the management IP address of the NE.
Suggestion: Reconfigure the gateway NE to ensure that the IP route between the device and NMS is available and DCN communication is normal.
Case 1: Communication port fails to be found
Case 2: All NEs are unreachable
Case 3: An NE frequently becomes unreachable
Case 4: Some NEs are unreachable
