Dear friend!
The MSTP network is mainly used to transmit SDH services (including PDH services), Ethernet, ATM, PCM, storage, and video services. It is applicable to enterprise networks, small-scale broadcast and television networks, and 2G mobile communications networks.
The packet network mainly transmits Ethernet services of different rates and some low-rate SDH services. Packet networks are mainly used in 2G and 3G mobile communication networks.
A pure SDH network can only transmit SDH and PDH services and is applicable only to simple and temporary communication scenarios. Currently, the SDH network is basically out of the market.
