Problem description
MSP squelching function failed during the dual fiber cut scenario.
Handling procedure
During troubleshooting, we found that the version of boards connecting in MSP mismatched the SCC version of the node.
•The version of SCC of OSN 3500 was 5.21.18.55
•According to SCC version the boards in NE should have versions as mentioned.
Root cause
The root cause was NE cross-connect and line boards version mismatch according to SCC board of NE when compared to version matching table.
Solution
The nodes were all updated to versions according to the SCC version as mentioned in the version matching table and then all the nodes were updated with the latest patch wahich was SPH505.
