Hello, everyone!
This post will tell you one issue for MSP ring offline due to AUX fault.
Problem description:
Customer report that 4 nodes offline in MSP ring (303, 308, 309, 310)
Version: 5.21.18.55
All node of Ring exist with 1+0 GSCC.
Handling procedure:
1) Check the Aggregation node 303 of the ring.
2) Check the GSCC of the 303 NE, Found PROG LED of GSCC RED.
3) We replace the GSCC and download the data on new GSCC after version match.
4) Boards are still not appear on NMS except GSCC FAN and AUX, remaining boards have communication alarm.
5) Replace the AUX board and the board are normal.
6) Revert the old GSCC that also working fine and all NEs are online.
Root cause:
AUX faulty.
Solution:
AUX board replaced.
