MPLS OLT MA5608T

The MA5608T supports MPLS services with VPLS. Note that only the SPUB board supports VPLS services.

Generally, you need to configure MPLS services before configuring VPLS.

As a combination of Ethernet and Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) technologies, VPLS emulates all functions of the traditional local area network (LAN), with a purpose to connect multiple geographically isolated LANs that consist of Ethernet using the IP or MPLS network provided by carriers and make the LANs work as a LAN.

Another question, Will I experience any performance loss in using these services? I will configure OSPF with MPLS and VPLS. My OLT is MA5608T and control board H801MCUD1, does it suppport that configuration ?

Yes. The MA5608T supports OSPF configuration.
Prerequisites
The native VLAN has been configured for the upstream port of the MA5608T to ensure that the communication is normal.
The OSPF area number of the MA5608T must be the same as that of the router.
