Hi, it is possible to enable ldp for an vpn-instace, but where do I configure the remote-ips for a ldp remote-peer?

I missing the command like:

#
mpls ldp remote-peer myprivateremote vpn-instance vpntransport
 remote-ip 4.4.4.4
#

current configuration:

neighbors are visible, but not the neighbors of neighbors (4.4.4.4):

 --------------------------------------------------------------------------
PeerID             Status      LAM  SsnRole  SsnAge       KASent/Rcv
 --------------------------------------------------------------------------
 2.2.2.2:0          Operational DU   Passive  0000:00:45   182/182
 3.3.3.3:0          Operational DU   Passive  0000:00:45   182/182
 --------------------------------------------------------------------------

#
mpls lsr-id 1.1.1.1
#
mpls
#
mpls l2vpn
#
mpls ldp
 #
 ipv4-family
#
mpls ldp remote-peer myprivateremote
 remote-ip 4.4.4.4
#
mpls ldp vpn-instance vpntransport
 #
 ipv4-family
#

best regards

It might be, the mpls remote peer requires the available route towards the remote peer.
So you should inspect the vpn-instance routing-table to verify that.

Hello @chenhio
Right, but i think i know the reason. There is not remote-peer configuration inside the vpn-instance possible, only for the public routing-table (mpls ldp remote-peer myprivateremote).

The "private" routing table is fine, the remote peer is visible.
What I mean, my suspicion is, the "mpls ldp remote-peer" command works only for the public routing-table and not for the private routing-table, or i am wrong?

Yeah, it seems you are right. the mpls ldp remote-peer doesn't contain such a vpn-instance parameter.

if it is not possible (although it is partly implemented in the software), what would be alternative? MPLS is needed in VPN (VRF) for an Access Transport network. o#
