Today, I’d like to share a case.
Problem Description
No 2048QAM modulation option can be selected in U2000, RTN Version:RTN950A V100R007C10SPC300; U2000 version: U2000V200R014C60SPC200.
1. No 2048QAM modulation option can be selected in U2000, RTN Version:RTN950A V100R007C10SPC300; U2000 version: U2000V200R014C60SPC200.
2. Problem occurred while implementing the Microwave link as per designed LB 2048 QAM.
3. XX Customer not able to avail bigger bandwidth using the feature of 2048QAM, bandwidth limited.
4. Suggested to use U2000 WebLCT as work around solution.
Problem Analysis
1. XX Customer is unable to implement modulation scheme of new swapped links as per LB. RTN 950A version is V100R007C10SPC100 & NMS version is U2000V200R014C60SPC200.
2.We checked the issue with from both NMS U2000 & from U2000 WebLCT, where in Microwave link configuration modulation can be selected up to 1024 QAM. Picture attached for reference.
3.We raised SR to R&D for detail investigation, after confirmation had from the U2000 R&D, we are aware that this issue belongs the U2000 V200R014C60SPC200 defect. The DTS number is DTS2015031306715, the U2000 V200R014C60CP2001 has resolved this defect.
4.R&D Team suggested to install the patch of CP2001+CP2102 on this U2000 server & accordingly we have performed the same patch to the NMS.
5. Also in case of U2000 WebLCT R&D suggested to U2000WebLCT_V200R014C50, as the existing U2000WebLCT_V200R014C60SPC200 SW is having bug, confirmed.
Root Cause
Solution Description
The U2000 V200R014C60CP2001 has resolved this defect. suggested to install the patch of CP2001+CP2102 on this U2000 server.
