Hi there, everybody!
This post features the procedure for modifying the IP addresses of Nodes on the U2000 tech. Please see more details as you read below.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
After the network changes, you must use the U2000 Centralized Maintenance Management Tool to modify the IP addresses of nodes.
PREREQUISITES
The Centralized Maintenance Management Tool server has been started.
The NMS service is stopped.
The PC used to log in to the Centralized Maintenance Management Tool in web mode can properly communicate with the Centralized Maintenance Management Tool server.
CONTEXT
Before the IP address modification, read the context information displayed on the Configure IP Address page and make the preparations accordingly.
PROCEDURE
Logging In to the U2000 Centralized Maintenance Management Tool.
Choose Maintenance > Network Configure > Configure IP Address from the main menu.
Change the IP addresses by importing a file, or change them directly. Change IP addresses of VMs by importing a file.
Click Import Configuration tab. You can specify the NIC Usage or NIC Name to quickly select the required NIC. And you can also specify the Product Alias to quickly select the required NIC when multiple products exist.
Click Batch Export. In the displayed Warning dialog box, click OK to save the configureip_YYYYMMDD_hhmmss.xlsm file in the local directory. Use Excel 2007 or later to open and save the file.
Select the changed IP file, click Import. If the IP file fails to be imported for ten consecutive times, the system automatically locks the IP file batch import function for the current login IP address for ten minutes. Import the file again after the function is unlocked. In the displayed Warning dialog box, click OK. The system has created a task successfully. Click Task Information List to view the task execution status. If the task execution fails, resolve the failure based on detailed information about the task. After the IP address of a node is changed, the system automatically restarts the NMS service on the IS node. If the modified node is an EM or NM node, the system also restarts the database service on it.
Change IP addresses of VMs directly. Click the Direct Configuration tab. Select the network interface card (NIC) whose IP address is to be changed. You can specify the NIC Usage or NIC Name to quickly select the required NIC. And you can also specify the Product Alias to quickly select the required NIC when multiple products exist.
Set the IP Address as the changed IP address, Subnet Mask as the changed subnet mask and NIC Usage as the changed NIC usage.
Click Apply.
Reconfigure the NTP. If the IP address of the Maintenance plane has been changed and the NTP server has been added, you need to perform this step. Otherwise, skip this step (choose Maintenance > Time Management > Configure NTP from the main menu. The Configure NTP page is displayed. Click Reconfigure NTP).
MODIFYING A FLOATING IP ADDRESS
NBI_GW nodes help achieve dual-system hot backup. The Float IP nodes can map two NBI_GW nodes to a single floating IP address so that the NBI_GW nodes use the same IP address. This topic describes how to modify a floating IP address.
CONTEXT
Both the primary and secondary Float IP nodes have a public network IP address configured and are mapped to public network floating IP address (10.78.216.100).
Two floating IP addresses are configured, one for the public network and the other for the private network. The public network floating IP address (10.78.216.100) is used for interworking with the OSS (10.146.39.131), and the private network floating IP address (192.168.30.45) is used for interworking with the primary and secondary NBI_GW nodes. The private network floating IP address uses the default value set by the system.
The primary and secondary NBI_GW nodes both have two IP addresses. The public network IP address is used for interworking with the IS, and the private network IP address is used for interworking with the private network floating IP address (192.168.30.45). The private network IP address of the NBI_GW node is reused management and maintenance network.
This would be all on the procedure for modifying the IP addresses of Nodes on the U2000 tech. Thanks for reading this post!
