Description
A lens can be installed on a C-mount or a CS mount. A C-mount lens must be installed on a C-mount. To install a C-mount lens on a CS mount, you must use a C/CS lens adapter. Otherwise, camera faults may occur.
Example
To install a C-mount lens on a CS mount, you must use a C/CS lens adapter, as shown in Figure 1.

1. Images cannot be focused.
2. The IR-CUT is stuck, so the camera cannot switch between the day and night modes.
Correct operations
The C-mount lens is installed on the CS mount, as shown in Figure 2.
