@surriken87 hello,I searched a lot of manuals, but none of them described the minimum EIRP, only the maximum vlaue is metioned. by the way, in the manual of 6050D, the manual describes "The actual transmit power depends on local laws and regulations. You can adjust the transmit power of a 2.4G or 5G radio port to 1 dBm, at a step of 1 dB." I think it means that the EIRP can be configured to 1dB, but the actual transmit power which the AP works with will be limited by the local laws and regulations

Hello,

Effective Isotropic Radiated Power (EIRP) restricts the strength of signals sent by a device.

EIRP restrictions vary depending on countries, frequency bands, and channels. Therefore, it is a must to understand EIRP restrictions and requirements in local countries before WLAN planning. The relationship between the EIRP, AP's transmit power, and antenna gain is as follows:

EIRP ≥ AP's transmit power + MIMO gain + Antenna gain - Feeder loss

Transmit power must be configured according to each country compliance. Please check this reference and download Country Codes and Channels Compliance :

Thank you, i know what is EIRP and it depends of the regulatory restrictions in each country. I asked about minimal allowed EIRP value on the different Huawei APs. Does it clarify in any documents? For example on this forum i read that minimal allowed eir

@surriken87 hello, I searched the manual of the AP6052DN, no clear answer was found. I think it's because that the minimal EIRP value depends on the formula EIRP ≥ AP's transmit power + MIMO gain + Antenna gain - Feeder loss, the AP's transmit power could be adjusted automatically, feeder loss depends on the feeder, different feeders have different losses, the value can't be specified accurately, which leads the EIRP can't be specified accurately.

Maybe i not ask my question clearly. I ask this question in another form in this thread: https://forum.huawei.com/enterprise/en/Difference-between-Configured-EIRP-and-Actual-EIRP/thread/483425-869
