  • What is a MIMO technology?

MMO is a technology, we used this technology in a microwave links, it is mean multi input multi output antenna .


  • What is its working mechanism?

we use more than one antenna to send a traffic , and more than one antenna in a receive at one Carrier frequency .


  • Why do we use this technology?

  1. Increase data rate and capacity

  2. Improve signal performance

  3. Less fading and errors

  4. spectrum utilization


  • how it  works?

We send traffic to more than one stream, and every stream We send it on antenna, We must put a space between the antenna (Vertical or horizontal separate) . and We must use (dual polarized antenna) this is important.

The distance between the antanna is calculated by :

Squat Root ( D * C / 2F )

C .. the speed of signal in air
D .. distance from site to facing
F .. frequency of the Transmit antennas


  • Important:

we used modulation 1024 QAM Maximum, and Maximum channel spacing 56MHz, And less channel spacing 28MHz.
