Migrating services from OptiX OSN 1500B to OptiX OSN 1800V

This depends on whether the OptiX OSN 1800 V supports the services on the live network of the OptiX OSN 1500 B. If you support it, you can refer to Swap to PTN980 procedure

If the OptiX OSN 1500B does not support this function, please replace the board on the OptiX OSN 1800V. If the problem persists after the board is replaced, services cannot be migrated.

in general OSN 1800V supports all services that OSN1500 supports and more and so it can replace it , you need only to choose the boards that do the same functions.

for example if you have 1 pq1 that supports 63E1 you will need 2×SP3D in the OSN1800V each one supports 42E1 and each SP3D occupy only half slot .
