This post talks about the measurement points of abnormal E-RAB releases. Please have a read below for more details.
1. Abnormal E-RAB releases are measured when the eNodeB sends a UE CONTEXT RELEASE REQUEST message to the MME and the release cause is not any of the following:
l Normal Release;
l Detach;
l User Inactivity;
l Om-Intervention;
l CS Fallback triggered;
l UE Not Available for PS Service;
l Inter-RAT Redirection;
l Time Critical Handover;
l Handover Cancelled;
l Redirection towards 1xRTT.
If the message requires a simultaneous release of multiple E-RABs, the corresponding counters are incremented by QCI.

2. Abnormal E-RAB releases are measured when the eNodeB sends an E-RAB RELEASE INDICATION message to the MME and the release cause is not any of the following:
l Normal Release;
l Detach;
l User Inactivity;
l Om-Intervention;
l CS Fallback triggered;
l UE Not Available for PS Service;
l Inter-RAT Redirection;
l Successful Handover;
l Redirection towards 1xRTT message.
If the message requires a simultaneous release of multiple E-RABs, the corresponding counters are incremented by QCI.
