Mandatory option for the command max-sta-number

Hi,

We have found a configuration item which is not clear for us. Please help to clarify that.

A VAP profile has a SSID profile assigned. The SSID profile has the mandatory option "Maximum number of STAs" which is maximum of 256.

Let's assume, that we rollout the VAP profile to 1000 accesspoints.

Does it mean it allows 256 clients per AP or does it mean that the whole SSID (which is available on 1000 APs) can only have 256 clients distributed over all Accesspoints? Which means that we can only have 256 clients overall.
