Hi Guys!


i have  AirEngine5760 series AP and  AirEngine9700-M Controller.


My setup plan is as follows.

APs will be assembled first (100 - 200 units)

Then I will mount the controller to the system.


I wonder from which network will the APs and the Controller communicate? What is Default Vlan?

What do you mean by the network between APs and ACs?
CAPWAP defines how an AP communicates with an AC and provides a general encapsulation and transmission mechanism for interworking between the AP and the AC. APs automatically discover ACs, authenticate APs, obtain software images from ACs, and obtain initial and dynamic configurations from ACs.
The default VLAN is 1.
