Mainstream Substream
The dual stream uses a high bit rate stream for local HD storage, such as QCIF/CIF/D1 encoding, and a low bit rate stream for network transmission, such as QCIF/CIF encoding, while taking into account local storage and remote network transmission. Dual stream can realize two different bandwidth streams for local transmission and remote transmission. Local transmission can achieve higher HD video storage by using high code stream, and remote transmission uses lower stream to adapt to various CDMA/ADSL. Get better image fluency with the network.
dual stream takes into account the image quality and transmission quality under the existing network bottleneck. It can break through the network bottleneck and flexibly select the code stream format according to the network bandwidth to achieve local high-definition storage and back-end low-stream network transmission. In fact, dual-stream is a speed-up for network video surveillance. This creatively widens the application of dual-stream to achieve arbitrary code stream selection and encoding technology, enabling hundreds of cameras in large-scale video surveillance systems. Massive video, audio, storage, alarms, and management data can ensure the stable operation of the transmission system with limited network resources available to users.
The main stream is used for local storage and the substream is suitable for images to be transmitted over low bandwidth networks.
