ISSUE DESCRIPTION


I've been very curious about this MAC address issue.


I am not able to locate where the MAC address is.


Checked all 22 switches, none has the MAC address.


Anyone have idea how it comes?

I think this mac-flap log belongs to a Cisco device :) Po is a port-channel interface :)

Managed to find the root cause of it .
It the NDP protocol
disable NDP protocols stop the Mac-Flapping issue.

May 23 19:07:30: %SW_MATM-4-MACFLAP_NOTIF: Host 00e0.fc09.bcf9 in vlan 1 is flapping between port Po6+Efp1 and port Po2+Efp1

I am getting the same log in cisco device.
