Hello,


I own and manage many MA5603Ts. However, one MA5603T cannot report alarms to the U2000, but the other MA5603Ts are normal. Can you tell me why?

Hello, friend!


Possible causes:


  • The network between the MA5603T and the U2000 is faulty.

  • Two MA5603Ts are configured incorrectly.

  • The MA5603T configuration does not match the U2000 configuration.

  • The MA5603T is abnormal.


If the configuration is correct, perform the following debugging to check whether the alarm is generated.


(diagnose)%%idle-timeout 60

(diagnose)%ugging udp packet dest-port 162

(diagnose)%%terminal debugging

(diagnose)%%terminal monitor


Use the NMS to synchronize device alarms, or open another Telnet/SSH terminal to log in to or log out of the device.


(diagnose)%%undo debugging all

(diagnose)%%undo terminal debugging

(diagnose)%%undo terminal monitor
