MA5821 Auth failure on H901XGHD

I have MA5821 on H901GPFD, it works good

i want to run it on H901XGHD (XGPON), but I have failure:


 2 2021-12-23 15:41:13+00:00 48575443AB42744F  0     offline Auth failure    
   3 2021-12-23 15:40:45+00:00 48575443AB42744F  0     offline Auth failure

and MDU do not go online


MDU software version  V8R313 C10

OLT MA5800-X7 software version MA5800V100R018C00

MA5821

The root cause of the problem cannot be directly determined based on the problem described by you.


Generally, you can locate the fault in the following ways:

1. Check whether the MDU receives optical signals normally.

2. Check whether the optical path is correct.

3. If the device passes SN authentication, check whether the SN of the MDU is consistent with that configured on the OLT.


Please check it one by one. I hope it can help you.

There is no problem with all these points:
1) MDU gets a good signal
2) OPtical path is correct
3) MDU serial is configured on OLT by command "ont add 2 0 sn-auth 48575443AB42744F snmp ont-lineprofile-name ma5626-16-spec "

MDU does not pass authentication only on board H901XGHD (XGPON)

If the verification fails only on the board, you are advised to remove and insert the board.
If the fault persists, the board may be faulty. You are advised to contact the after-sales personnel.

Hi friend.

If you change the board for logging in to the MDU on the OLT, you need to log in to the device again as the administrator.

According to the information provided by you, the reason why the MDU fails to go online is an authentication failure. Check whether your login process and account permissions are correct.

I authorize mdu by serial:
ont add 2 0 sn-auth 48575443AB42744F snmp ont-lineprofile-name ma5626-16-spec

I delete mdu on previous board and register on H901XGHD
I can find mdu by autofind but mdu does not go online after the command "ont add ..."
