Hello Chapax , we can upgrade the MA5800 from R017C00 to R018C10SPH105 directly. don't need any intermediate firmware.

some images include a dat file with a null database and others do not. What is your utility or need for an upgrade?

only GA version includes a dat file with a null database, generally, we recommend the customer to save and backup the data and configuration . then load the package file of R018C10SPH105 and active the package file.
the data and configuration which is backed up is used to restore the configuration in case of upgrade failure.
so, in common scenario, there is no need to use the the dat file with null database

What I'm doing wrong - I see only V100R017C10SPH220 for my MA5800X7. How it's possible download newer version of software ?

Product is registered and approved. Any idea what I'm doing wrong ?

actually this firmware need authority to download, maybe your account don't have the enough rights , so please ask the provider support to download for you , thank you
