MA5800 Uses the Delay Protection Group Instead of the LAG

I learned how to configure the LAG of the OLT in the answer to this post on the forum:

I want to know whether the upstream port of the OLT MA5800 can use the delay protection group instead of the LAG. Which mode do you recommend?

Hi, backwaves.

If both ends support LAG, link aggregation is recommended. If the peer end does not support LAG or LAG cannot be configured, delay protection can be used. By default, link aggregation works in a load balancing mode, but the protection group works in active/standby mode. Therefore, it is recommended that the upstream port of the OLT continue to use LAG.
