MA5680T power supply question

Hello,

I have a OLT MA5680T with 2(two) PRTE Modules version V800R011. I powered it up with -48v dc, from a set of batteries, connected to uppest PRTE module, and it is working for several months.

Now, I installed a second set of batteries, new ones.

Both of sets are grounded to positive pole, same ground point, good ground < 2.5ohm.

My question is related to the connection of this second -48v  dc to the second PRTE module.

*Can both switched on together ? if ones has a fault, the other keep all working OLT is not restarted, doesn't it?
*Or must switch first off and then switch the other on ? (OLT is restarted)

reasoning, I think to be the first question true, but  I need to explicitly read about it before to try
There are many manuals, but none of them I found about my dilemma.

The PRTE power interface board leads one -48 V input to the backplane, and then the backplane supplies power to each board.

Two PRTE boards can be configured for dual-system hot backup. If one PRTE board is off, the other supplies power to the chassis can guarantee normal running of the system.
