Hi, there.


The GPBD board, When the light is not inserted, the display is normal. If the light is plugged in, you can also find that you can register. Only one minute later, the optical port of the board will be offline, and the query port shows that the board is faulty. At this time, the light lights up red.

Unplug the light. After a while, the board will return to normal again and again.

What's the problem? How to solve it?

Dear Winter_ba!
There are two possible causes:
1. The received optical power is abnormal.

Solution: Use an optical power meter to measure the received power. If it is too high, add an optical attenuator. If it is too low, clean the connector and eliminate line attenuation, and troubleshoot the peer device.

2. The alarm threshold is not set properly.
Solution: Reset the alarm threshold.
