Dear Friends ,

I can see M12 subracks in NCE on site . The optical layers are visible on NCE how can i add the electrical layer on NCE do i have to configure some type of service and if yes please guide me the whole steps.

Dear friend!
Perform the following steps:

1. Adjust the DIP switch on the EFI board in the added slave subrack based on the subrack ID planning.

2. Power on the added slave subrack.

3. Check the subrack ID, and make sure that it is in line with the subrack ID planning and no subrack ID conflict exists.

4. Connect the added slave subrack to the original subracks. Connect the added slave subrack to the original subracks through the ETH1/ETH2 ports on the CXP boards.

5. Verify the connection between the master and slave subracks, and settings of the subracks. 

6. Install the cables for cascading the indicators of the subracks.
