We are looking for 8-LANport routers with VRRP and load-balancing support. We identified AR1220E but the vendor told us that it is no longer on sale, and it does not support load-balancing. Does anyone have any recommendation?

Hello,

Yes, the sales of Huawei AR3260-S&AR2220E-S&AR2240-S&AR1220E-S Product will be stopped on December 31, 2019. Please note that you can not place order after the EOM date.

The AR1220E-S replacement product is NetEngine AR6120-S. So you can choose AR6120-S router.

Hope to help you!

Thank you for your info. A vendor quoted me AR6120, without "-S". What is the difference?

There is no difference in function, but S: indicates that the uplink interface is a single-mode optical port.
