looking for HW08 firmware for some OceanStor HGST 7.68Tb SAS 12G SSD's

Hi everyone,


I was able to purchase some HGST SDLL1HLR-076T-5CHS online.

I received the drives and they show a 'HW05' firmware level. I've seen other drives with a 'HW08' firmware level and this leads me to Huawei/OceanStor V3 arrays.

I do not own an OceanStor array (this would let me download the entire software for the OceanStor).

Thank you for your kind response.
Is my drive with a Huawei firmware? (HW05) could you confirm that?

I am unable to upgrade my account because I do not OWN an oceanstor appliance, only disk drives which appear to be coming from one of these NAS.
Could you please help me?
I only need the latest firmware for the HGST SS200 SDLL1HLR076T5CHS SSD.
I have no idea what is the right BOM for the drive in HUAWEI land.

Your hard disk is an HGST hard disk, not a Huawei hard disk. Huawei storage is compatible with a secondary hard disk.

I see in the parts listing that 7.68Tb Read intensive SSDs have these BOMs:
BOM Desc

However, I am unable to confirm which one is SDLL1HLR076T5CHS / SDLL1HLR-076T-5CHS

Hi Oliver, I tried inputting the disk serial numbers but it said that the number was not valid.
If you meant the serial number of the ARRAY (Oceanstor or Dorado), Well, I do not have that.

If you have the storage, you can check the disk information, you can query data based on the explicit command of the storage device. For example, the explicit command of Huawei storage is show disk general.
