Loading and activating the software on a GSM-R BTS

1. In order to load and activate the software on a GSM-R BTS, you need to connect to the BSC LMT and the connection between the BSC and the BTS to be normal.

2. The communication between the BSC and the BTS should also be normal.

Firstly you need to load the BTS software from the OMU(BSC 6000) to the main processing board of the BTS by using LOD BTSSW  command on the BSC LMT.

LOD BTSSW: IDTYPE=BYID, BTSIDLST=1, BTSSWVER="BTS3000V100R004C01B119", BRDSWTYPE=GTMU_MAIN;

The second step is to activate the BTS software using the ACT BTSSW command:

ACT BTSSW: IDTYPE=BYID, BTSIDLST=1, VERTYPE=BYBTSSWVER, BTSSWVER="BTS3000V100R004C01B119", BRDSWTYPE=GTMU_MAIN;
