When I connected to U1911 (sw. ver V200R003C50SPC800) with LMT and tried to set the 'Module switch configuration', I received the following error: 'Failed to send the request message for initializing the DEBUG LOG module' (as it can be seen in the below image):
Handling process
Firstly, I disabled the firewall on the Windows PC on which LMT was installed, but it did not clear the error.
Secondly, I captured a trace with Wireshark and I did not see any UDP packets coming from U1911's IP (port 1125) to LMT PC (port 57003), as it should have been seen on a normal communication when the 'Start configuration"'button on the 'Module switch configuration' page is clicked.
Root cause
A firewall inside the customer's network is blocking UDP packets sourced from U1911's IP (port 1125) to reach LMT's IP (port 57003).
Solution
Set a firewall rule to allow traffic from U1911's IP (port 1125) to LMT's IP (port 57003).
