Live video viewing process
Typical networking
Common method for locating a live video viewing fault
Log in to the camera Web page on the computer where the IVS client is installed and check the live video viewing service.
If live video cannot be viewed, start Wireshark on the IVS client to capture packets from the camera to the IVS client during live video viewing on the camera Web page and check whether the network is normal. If no, contact the network supplier. If yes, the camera is faulty. Then, contact the camera vendor.
If live video can be properly viewed, the camera is running properly and the network between the camera and the IVS client is normal. Then, go to the next step.
Refresh the device list on the IVS client and check the device status in the device list.
If the device disappears, the device is deleted. Identify the cause of device deletion.
If the device is offline, identify the cause of device offline.
If the device is online, obtain fault information for further analysis.
