Applicable Models
This fault may occur on the following IPC models:
- IPC6122-P
- IPC6122-D
- IPC6112-P
- IPC6112-D
- IPC6221-VRZ-SP
- IPC6221-VRZ
- IPC6211-VRZ
Symptom
When users view live video on the web client of a camera, the CPU usage of the IPC reaches up to 100%, and image delay and freezing occur on the live video.
Possible Causes
- On the camera: Dual streams are enabled on the camera; the primary stream resolution is 1080p.
- On the platform: The TCP protocol is used as the transmission protocol; the resolution is 1080p; the bit rate is 6144.
Solution
- Modify parameters on the camera and platform.
- Modify parameters on the camera.
- Set Stream type to Primary stream.
- Set Resolution to a value less than 1080P.
- Modify parameters on the platform.
- Set Transmission Protocol to UDP.
- Set Resolution to a value less than 1080P.
- Set bit rate to a value less than 4096.
- Modify parameters on the camera.
- Check whether the fault is rectified.
