Linux Hosts - Checking the Driver Version of the Host HBA

123 0 1 0 0

If the host HBA driver version is outdated, large I/Os may be split by the HBA, the default concurrency is insufficient, and the I/O latency increases, especially in low-load, full hit, and bandwidth-intensive scenarios.

Linux Hosts

Step 1      Run lsscsi to query the channel IDs corresponding to the HBA.

linux-ob3a:~ # lsscsi

In the preceding command output, the channel IDs corresponding to the HBA are 5 and 6.

Step 2      Run cd to go to the corresponding host directory.

linux-ob3a:~ # cd /sys/class/scsi_host/host5
linux-ob3a:/sys/class/scsi_host/host5 # ls

Step 3      Run cat to query driver_version.

linux-ob3a:/sys/class/scsi_host/host5 # cat driver_version
