1. Configuring the intrusion detection function.
a) Open a web browser, type the IP address of the camera in the address box and press Enter.
b) Enter the user name and password and click Login.
c) The system shows the home page of the client.
d) Choose Settings > Intelligent Analysis > Behavior Analysis Parameters.
e) Set behavior type to Intrusion detection.
f) Set the recognizing mode and the alarm check interval.
g) Click Draw and draw a sensitive area on the live video image.
h) Specify the sensitive area name.
i) Click Save to complement intrusion detection configuration.
2. Create a protection zone.
a) On the Workspace tab page, double-click Alarms.
b) Click the Protection Zone tab.
c) Create a protection zone.
d) Click
. A protection zone record is displayed in the Protection Zone List panel on the left.
e) Right-click the record, choose Rename from the shortcut menu, and name the protection zone.
f) Click One by One.
g) Select cameras for the protection zone.
h) Click OK.
3. Configure a protection zone surveillance deployment plan.
a) On the Workspace tab page, double-click Alarms.
b) Click the Protection Zone tab page.
c) Right click on the new protection zone and choose Plan from the shortcut menu. The tab page for setting protection zone surveillance deployment plans is displayed.
d) Drag the timeline to select a period for executing surveillance deployment.
e) Select Enable plan. Click OK to save surveillance plan configuration information. The protection zone surveillance plan is successfully configured.
4. Configure protection zone alarm to link with alarm bells and SMS messages.
a) In the 'Service Operation' panel on the left of the Workspace tab page, double-click Alarms.
b) Click the Alarm Linkage tab.
c) In the Protection Zone List panel, select a protection zone. Then, click New Alarm Linkage Policy. The page for setting alarm linkage policies is displayed.
d) Select Intrusion and click Next.
e) On the New Alarm Linkage Policy page, click 
, and click Boolean Value Output.
f) Configure the alarm linkage to the Boolean value output.
g) Click to create the SMS message linkage action.
h) Set the linkage SMS message parameters and click Save.
i) Click Save to complete the alarm action configuration.
