Hello, everyone!
This post will tell you one issue for the limitation of Low Order Cross-Connect Capacity in OSN 3500.
Problem description
Customer X starts using the N1EGS4 card in OSN3500 to transmit EOSDH services through VC-Trunk creation. The problem is if any cross connection service needs to be created in this OSN3500 using this card, the configuration is not applied successfully as in Cross-Connect Capacity Management there is restriction happened in create any more cross connection in OSN3500 as in Low Order Cross-Connect Capacity has reached the Maximum NO . of counter in the creation of VC4 or VC3 or VC12.
Handling procedure
The problem is the configuration of the cross connection as following:
A-If any cross connection service needs to be created in this OSN3500 using this card, the configuration is not applied successfully as in Cross-Connect Capacity Management there is restriction:
Lower Order Cross-Connect Capacity at OSN3500 for N1PSXCS supports the following cross connection capacity: 20 Gbit/s (128x128 VC-4s, which are equivalent to 384x384 VC-3s or 8064x8064 VC-12s)
B-So there is restriction happened as when creating any more cross connection in OSN3500 the configuration is not applied as in Low Order Cross-Connect Capacity has reached the Maximum no. of the counter in the creation of VC4 or VC3 or VC12
Root cause
It is normal behavior for this kind card of cards { N1PSXCS at OSN3500}. Because This Board has a limitation capacity of creating cross connection as in Low Order Cross-Connect Capacity has reached the Maximum NO. of counter in creation of VC4 or VC3 or VC12.
Solution
Recover the cross connection problem by deleting the unwanted cross connection and make a clean up for the life cross connection and rearrange it which will provide a few of VC4, VC3, or VC12 to be cross connected for the required creation that customer need it.
That's all, I welcome everyone to leave a message and exchange in the comment area!
Thank you!
