Hi,

Now I have a project where I need alot of Industrial grade equipment. But I cannot use the ones I got, because they got no license.

Hi,

In earlier versions of the AR550, the Layer 2/Layer 3 mode switching function is unavailable by default, and the function can be used only after the license is activated. This function is no longer restricted in the new version. Please upgrade to the new version. Download address:

https://support.huawei.com/enterprise/en/routers/ar550-pid-9794920/software

Any further questions, let us know!

Hi, I have updated to newest available. I read in the Feature Delta Information that NAT is not supported in 24FE-D-H Is that true?

Hi @user_3699808
which function do you want to implement?
As far as I know, on AR550, only routing protocols(OSPF/OSPFv3, RIP/RIPng, ISIS, BGP/BGP4+) require license to implement.

I just want to use it as a gateway router, ACL VLAN, NAT etc. I can do without dynamic routing in the test.

The problem is, that there is no license installed, so it can only be used as a switch.

The model is:  ar550-24fe-d-h

Igot the error:

[Huawei-GigabitEthernet0/0/0]undo portswitch

Info: This interface can't change to layer-3 interface. Please active license.

After i updated the software,I were able to create a L3 interface.

But now it looks like I'm unable to configure NAT.
