Brief:
When loading the license on the router using web there is an error displayed that license failed.
Error:
Handling Process:
1. Started to collect diagnostic and output of commands below:
<sysname>dir /all
<sysname> system-view
[sysname] display esn
<sysname> display license
[sysname] display license state
[sysname] display license esn
[sysname] display license revoke-ticket
[sysname]display diagnostic-information dia-info.txt
2. Checked again the license and everything to make sure that no human error may be present;
3. It seemed that when the license is uploaded using the Web browser, the license file may be modified and therefore the license display the error detailed previously;
4. We started to upload the license using command below and issue was solved:
<Huawei> license active license_name.dat
Root Cause:
License file may be damaged in transit when uploaded using web interface;
Solution:
Upload license files in ftp/tftp/sftp mode then using the CLI to activate it.
