HEC Classroom:

eNSP is a graphical network simulation platform. By simulating real network devices, eNSP helps ICT practitioners and customers to get familiar with Huawei datacom products quickly, to understand and master the operation and configuration of any related products and to improve the planning, construction and O&M capabilities of enterprise ICT networks, ultimately helping enterprises build a more efficient and better enterprise ICT network.

the latest version of eNSP is very good so far. But in the future it should be considered to add switches which are applicable in the real industry at the moment. Especially chasis switches.

Hi tesfama,
Switches are already added in latest ENSP version like 2750, 67xx, etc

please send me the download link for the latest version of eNSP
If possible I hope eNSP to enable users to be more user friendly; meaning enabling users to upgrade and downgrade the version of the devices for test purpose.

It is not a great idea to upgrade or downgrade a device in virtual environment. Yes huawei should add the support of multi-IOS in upcoming ENSP versions.
It has lots of bugs, otherwise its good.

It would be easy to fix the errors of you share the bugs. But as you mentioned there are some bugs, for example the CE12800 has a problem. The NE devices have also some bugs.

error 40 can be fixed by installing compatible eNSP with Virtual Box. If you install the latest version of eNSP, you should install Virtual Box version 5.2x.
for error 41 please share the snap shot of the error
for the FTP of the PC client it supports only ping and tracert functions.

Yeah, I totally agree with you about this. Because I can't work with Hyper-V and eNSP at the same time (After turning on the eNSP, after Hyper-V, my OS crashes). And I don't know how to resolve this

And I don't know why eNSP .vdi files works only with Virtual Box? I like VMware more. But it's only my opininion.

the examples that are now included in the eNSP are good. But I recommend to add new examples and scenarios in the next eNSP version.

most users who simulate a device feature do not have real access to the devices. The thing that can solve this is adding physical view in addition to the logical view. That way user can understand the real cabling of devices and where the device is located.

All good with ENSP but it will be more convenient if huawei will provide multi-vendor support in ENSP like EVE-NG and GNS3. If we use ENSP then we totally dependent on the huawei platform which must be addressed.

Hi, in the meantime you can interconnect eNSP with GNS3 following this guide:

hi ejcastriver thanks for your sharing actually i have an idea that how to connect ENSP with GNS3 but my main point is to add features of multivendor support in native ENSP plateform. Like in EVE-NG Pro etc.

Hi Kamiss, usually vendors doesn't provide software of third vendors in theirs simulation tools. That's why you either need to use an open tool like gns3/eve, or integrate those tools with a proprietary software like eNSP/others
yeah! it will be Good Activity and we have a chance to learn as well. I am waiting for this great Activity
