The clustered NAS storage system manages and controls permissions on an NFS shared file system by allowing only a specific client or network group to access this NFS shared file system. When configuring an NFS share in an LDAP domain or NIS domain, you need to add the clustered NAS storage system to a corresponding domain. When a client tries to access the NFS shared file system, the LDAP server or NIS server functions to authenticate the client and determine whether they have the permission on the NFS shared file system.

Thanks.
