One file system can be shared to the Windows client in CIFS mode and to the Linux client in NFS mode

One file system can be shared in both CIFS and NFS modes, it is readable and writable at the same time.

Configuration roadmap:
  1. For details on how to create a CIFS share for a file system, refer to "Configuring a CIFS Share In a Non-Domain Environment" in the N8500 Clustered NAS Storage System Configuration Guide Specific to the NAS.
  2. For details on how to create an NFS share for a file system, refer to "Configuring an NFS Share in a Non-Domain Environment" in the N8500 Clustered NAS Storage System Configuration Guide Specific to the NAS.

Thanks.
