Jumbo frame CE6855-48S6Q-HI

I have two switches CE6855-48S6Q-HI Switch connected by each other through the stack ports (service ports 40G) I need to enable the jumbo frame but i checked it and i found its enabled by default on the all ports except the stack ports so no need to enable it correct ?

Hi @Waleed.Farouk,
Theoretically yes. You can check the maximum frame length allowed passing through using command display interface stack-port, as the example shows.


<HUAWEI> display interface stack-port 1/1Stack-Port1/1 current state : UP (ifindex: 58)
Line protocol current state : UP
Description:
Stack Port, Hash arithmetic : According to SIP-XOR-DIP, The Maximum Frame Length is 12288
Internet protocol processing : disabled
IP Sending Frames' Format is PKTFMT_ETHNT_2, Hardware address is 0025-9e95-7c31
Current system time: 2014-03-14 08:20
