ISSUE DESCRIPTION


Is it possible to connect to a Huawei Intelligent Video Surveillance (IVS) platform via RTSP to retrieve a camera stream?



Both Genetec and Milestone video management systems provide this and was wondering if Huawei does as well.

rtsp://username:password@IPaddress/LiveMedia/ch1/Media1/

This is just pulling the rtsp stream from the camera.

I am looking for the rtsp url when the camera is already added in the IVS Huawei VMS, and I want to the pull the stream of the recorded video.

Playback the camera 1 from IVS from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

I have the same issue. Want to view and record a RSTP feed. Can't find it a way to add it in a VCN 3010

Yes, I saw that. But the issue that we would like to resolve is to be able to record on the VCN 3010 a RTSP feed directly (with ip and syntax.). We can see that stream using VLC, but do not find a way to add it as a camera.
The string is something like this rtsp:// 172.20.1.10:554/live/4383216d-bb55-404c-9f65-e23f007e4378

Hi, @ruizgerm

You can use API and Northbound (RESTFUL&GAT1400) connection to the recording server
This interface is used to start server-based recording playback.
Playback parameters can be set and media streams can be sent to the specified destination IP address and port.
