HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)

Hi Everyone,

I am facing a software package upload issue on CSP platform. Under Software > Inventory > Software package tab, I select my "tar.gz" file and start the upload. Uploading process starts properly but it crashes at 94%. What could be the problem?

IVS3800F (Label is changed, formerly TaiShan 200 (Model 5280))

iBMC Version: 5.73

Bios FW version: 1.38

CSP Version: 20.1.8.2

Trying to upload: IVS3000_V100R019C50SPC300_ARM_Full.tar.gz

Downloaded Version: IVS3800 V100R019C50SPC310

Software/inventory/Software Package

Many thanks in advance!

You can try to rectify the software package by manually.

  1. Log in to the CSP management node as user cspexpert over an SSH connection and then run su root to switch to user root.

  2. Run df -h to check whether the disk has free space.

  3. Run cd /opt/csp/CSP_EDGE_OM/V1/csp_edge_log command to the log directory and check the log file size.

  4. Run ls -lh to check whether there are large log files.

  5. Clear the large log files.

In this case, clear the large log files edge_install.log, servicelog.log, servicelog.log.Febs, and servicelog.log.OM_MGR.

Hi Everyone,

I used an existing vlan for "Inner OM" during the CSP installation, there are other servers in between internal network start and end IP range. After I configure an isolated vlan for inner OM the software package upload issue is solved!

Best,

Do you want to upgrade? What is your chrome version, the Chrome v46.0 and later is recommended.

In addition, you are advised to check whether an alarm indicating that the disk space is full is generated.

Hi Y_T_Z. The resutl is the same after chrome update. It is a fresh installation not an upgrade. My disks are empty. Only the OS is installed so far. I am following this document: https://support.huawei.com/hedex/hdx.do?docid=DOC1100646368&path=PBI1-21430725/PBI1-251363742/PBI1-22510739/PBI1-22511167/PBI1-250614775

Check whether you switch pages when uploading the software.

Dear Y_T_Z, the /opt/csp partition seems free, only the 28% is in use. Should I still remove the mentioned logs and upload it again?

df -h

If you don't have new business running in your environment, try this.
Delete what you've uploaded before, Reboot the IVS3800 machine
and try to start over.
