Hi, dear!

You can do as follows to query the SN.

1. You can view the label on the IVS1800 device, which contains the device SN.

2. Alternatively, you can log in to the CLI and run the elabel get 0x11 to query the SN.

For how to log in to the CLI, you can see How Do I Log In to the Operating System Through a Serial Port?

Hope this can help you!

The password is the same as the OMU portal.
So you can log in to the OMU portal, the username and password are the same.
If you forget the password, you can do as follows to reset the password.

I'm sorry Stephen but that didn't work! I used OMU admin username and password in putty but it shows access is denied! there must be common password for admin trying to access the device from CLI.

the device already installed on a remote area. I need to send team to get the SN. it will be waste of time and resources if I can get it directly from the system.

Sorry, The password is not the same. I get the mistake.
You need to use the OS admin password.
If you are the first time to log in, there is no password.
